อย่าไปกินอาหารของคนที่ขี้เหนียว

อย่าไปอยากได้อาหารอร่อยของเขา

เพราะเขาจะนับอยู่ในใจ   เขาพูดว่า “กินและดื่มเถอะนะ”

แต่ใจของเขาไม่ได้อยู่กับเจ้าเลย

ในตราประทับนั้น มีชื่อของเนหะมีย์   รายชื่อปุโรหิต 22 คน

รายชื่อเลวีอีก 17  คน  และผู้นำประชาชนอีก 44 คน

นอกจากนั้น ก็มีรายชื่อของประชากรที่เหลือ

ทั้งปุโรหิต เลวี คนยามเฝ้าประตู  นักร้อง ผู้ช่วยในพระวิหาร
คนอื่นรวมทั้งภรรยา ลูกสาว ลูกชายที่โตพอจะรู้เรื่องแล้ว

พวกเขาพร้อมที่จะแยกตัวออกจากคนต่างชาติ
เพื่อว่าจะได้ทำตามบทบัญญัติของพระเจ้า

ยังมีเหล่าขุนนางที่เข้ามาร่วมปฏิญาณตนว่า

พร้อมจะทำตามคำบัญชา กฎเกณฑ์ต่าง ๆ  กฎหมายทั้งสิ้นของพระเจ้า
ถ้าพวกเขาไม่ทำตามบัญญัติของพระเจ้าซึ่งโมเสสผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ได้ให้ไว้
พวกเขาก็พร้อมจะรับคำสาปแช่งของพระเจ้า!
